When I saw it as "09/02/2009" on the file name, at first I thought, "but it's only June!" And then Fizzy laughed at me.

The government in opposition have decided to keep reciting the Lord's Prayer at the beginning of Parliamentary sittings. Kevin Rudd says the prayer is an important tradition, and he's right! Where would Parliament be without politicians asking for forgiveness? But if they're gonna start with a prayer it shout at least be relevant.

Our Parental Figure of either sex who art in Heaven, but not that art with naked children in it,

Hallowed be thy name, or at least invoked regularly as an expletive or during great sex,

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in Heaven as it is on Earth but please, not on the stock market again, we get the point.

And lead us not into temptation because we know the way pretty well by ourselves, but deliver us from evil, but not too quickly because we'd like to have a look around first.

For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory until science proves otherwise.

Amen and ladies.
